Biography
Lori
grew up in Des Moines and was a Valley High School State Champion then
went on to play golf for the University of Georgia. Lori played golf
professionally then discovered her real passion for golf is in
teaching people. Lori taught for the John Jacobs Golf Schools
throughout the South for many years. Lori got married in 2003 and now
is available for lessons every month of the year at Longview.

David Gantt
PGA Class A, Teaching Professional
Whether you are a beginner or a pro,
David tailors every lesson to match your needs. David asks you how
simple or technical you would like your lesson to be and teaches the
way that works best for you.
For beginners, David offers his “Quick
Start” system. David takes the golf swing (which is complex by nature)
and breaks it down into a few simple to learn movements which combine
for a correct and consistent swing to get you on the course enjoying
golf as soon as possible.

Jamie Grimm
Manager
Jamie started at
Longview in 1990. He played golf at Johnston. He graduated from
Grandview College with a Bachelors Degree in Business. Jamie is
married and has a future golfing son at home!
Jamie is
responsible for the day to day operation, staffing, finances, and
groundskeeper at Longview. Jamie designed and built the 18 hole
miniature golf course outside and the 9 hole course in the dome.
In his spare time,
Jamie enjoys fishing, golfing, camping, traveling and playing cards.
He recently has taken an interest in antique woodshaft clubs and even
playing with them occasionally.

Lee
Larson
Assistant Manager
Lee has been with
Longview for three years. He recently retired from teaching math in
the Des Moines schools. So now he has more time to work on the game he
loves so much. Three highlights for Lee have been his hole-in-one on a
176 yard par 3 hole at Willow Creek, and the two rounds in the 60's he
shot a few years ago.
When not working at
Longview, Lee and his wife enjoy watching their daughter in the Valley
High School show choir or his other daughter who is a black belt in
Taw Kwon Do.
